Taskuyu Cave (

Taşkuyu Mağarası

in Turkish) is a dripstone cave in the village of Taşkuyu. It was discovered by chance while a nearby road was being constructed in 2006.

The cave formed as a result of water leaking and dripping into the limestone. Over time, that water carved out large underground chambers. Inside the cave’s interconnected galleries, you can find numerous formations, including relatively rarely seen

. The temperature in the cave is between 19-24 degrees Celsius.

The cave opened to visitors in 2014, after lights and a walking path were installed.
