Vladimir Lenin Busts and Statue

Located in a small grove

of trees in an otherwise unassuming park reside a collection of statues and busts from a bypassed era.

Just behind the Semipalatinsk Hotel are several sculptures featuring the Soviet leader, Vladimir Lenin. There are other statues around the park of other Soviet-era figures, but none stand out more prominently than a giant statue of Lenin. The largest of all the relics, Lenin towers over the surrounding trees, a reminder of the power and magnitude of the former Soviet Union.
